The Remote: Range and Reliability
The remote range is usually 15-20 feet, but that’s in line of sight. Through a wall or a bookshelf, expect half that. The bigger issue is that the remote works on each candle individually, not as a group. You have to pair each one. Some brands let you set all to the same channel, but many don’t. The light is convincing, the flicker is random, and the timer is within 15 minutes. - Timer accuracy: Test for drift during the first week.
- Battery life: At least 100 hours on new batteries.
